 This is a very nice unit we just got in from Merck. We did go through it and found a few things that needed our attention.  1. We replaced a cooling condenser fan that was squeaking. 2. We replaced a cooling PCB fan that was squeaking. 3. We Cleaned a flushed out the specimen holder cooling system (which required about 10 hours of labor) and replaced with new tyfoxit cooling solution. 4. We replaced the coarse filter . And We have 24 more that go with the unit. 5. We checked all moving parts and greased and oiled anything needed.  6. Checked drive belt This unit is now in great cosmetic and working condition. We also have a users manual in PDF form that we can print or email.      No cryostat delivers performance in a research environment like the HM 560. World-class sectioning, unmatched ergonomics and phenomenal versatility make all research applications a breeze. The Automatic Cryo Approach (ACA) system advances the specimen right to the blade edge, while the patented vacutome stretches sections to eradicate artifacts.  The unique cooling system; active knife holder cooling, separate object cooling (to  -50°C) and a quick-freeze Peltier; enable  great first-cut sectioning of even the most difficult samples.  Motorized version makes sectioning of hard specimens simple. Height adjustable, users can comfortably  sit or stand.  Low-glare chamber illumination and a LCD reduce eye strain.  Motorized sectioning by foot or hand and padded arm rests eliminate the fatigue associated with other cryostats. The motorized version reduces repetitive motion trauma.

Domestic & International Shipping
Standard shipping methods are chosen at our discretion, either by USPS First-Class, USPS Priority, or UPS Ground. Our standard shipping price listed is only good for the continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, other U.S. Territories, and International will need to use the integrated shipping calculator under our "Shipping Information" section. All International Shipments do not offer confirmation or insurance. Please allow one business day after payment is received for items to ship from CA. All International customers are responsible for their country's duties & taxes. Please check with your country's requirements before purchasing. Tracking numbers are emailed automatically at the end of the business day, once your shipment has left our facility. UPS overnight is only available until 2pm PST in order for us to ship on the same day. Please call to verify we've received your overnight request. Same day shipping overnight is not available during holidays or weekends. If you are sending to a PO Box, your purchase must be shipped via USPS, either First Class, Priority, or Parcel Post, without exception.

We currently do not offer Combined Shipping, but we are working to remedy this for future purchases. Due to our vast inventory and the variation in sizes, this has been a definite challenge for us. Feel free to request combined shipping and we'll do what we can to accommodate you, but please consider the size of your item before contacting us.

FREIGHT
For large and sensitive items travelling domestically, please contact us for a shipping quote, preferably before purchasing as it may affect your decision to purchase. You will be invoiced separately for all shipping and handling charges. Please contact us if you should have any questions.

Damaged Shipments
If your item arrives damaged by the shipping carrier, please take clear images before & after opening your package to document the extent of the damage. The claim will require pictures of different angles of the box/crate before opening, and the damaged product(s) after opening. Email us immediately with your order number, found on the top of your invoice, along with the images and we'll begin the claim process.

Will-Call
Will-call is available for those arranging their own freight carriers and local pick-ups. Since we're predominantly an on-line store, there will be a nominal handling fee for all will-calls. Please contact us for the exact amount.

Special Handling with Foam
For High Value items requiring special packaging, we use several layers of bubble wrap and shrink wrap to seal the product in a protective bubble so the product always arrives not damaged. Look at our feed back, we never have anything arrive damaged due to our wrapping!

We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Cash is only accepted for will-calls. All Checks require 10 days to clear before your item may be picked up or shipped out. International credit card payments are currently unavailable.
